Achieve Ombre Hair with Blonde Highlights

Many people are interested in ombre hair. Ombre, in hair styling, is a type of coloring in which the roots are dark and the hair gets progressively lighter toward the ends. This look has been seen on Hollywood actresses and nodels, and you can achieve it at home with the right products, patience and attention to detail. If you think it is too boring to spend on professional coloring, this diy method could work for you.

  1. Choose a semi-permanent home hair color one shade darker than your natural color. Place the color on your roots using the utensils that come with the color. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide your hair into four sections, with two in the front and two in the back. Apply the color from the roots to the middle of your hair, begining with the back sections. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  3. Add water to the last third of your hair length to softeb the color leading toward the ends. Leave it for 5 minutes. Wash your hair.
  4. Choose a permanent hair color three shades lighter than your natural color. Place your hair in four sections. Use ponytail holders to section off the last third of the hair, nearest to the ends.
  5. Place color on the ends of the hair up until the ponytail holders and leave it for 20 minutes.
  6. Take off the ponytail holder and spread the color up your hair an inch above where it was initially placed. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Wash your hair.
Now you just can get your favorite ombre hair at home by yourself. This is so wonderful, right?
